Digital Media Ministry Europe
The countries of Europe are secular, post-Christian societies, and the rate of attempted suicide among young people is alarming. When they turn to social media influencers, they come up empty and lonely. But Jesus was also an influencer, and TWR wants to bring the influence of Jesus to the youth and young adults of Europe using digital media.
The convergence of the world's top athletes on Paris this July and August will provide a great opportunity for TWR - in cooperation with its French partner Phare FM – to engage with locals and visitors through in-person outreach and digital media activities. A group of churches and Christian organizations are partnering to create English and French content surrounding sports culture that we hope to translate into other languages such as Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian. Support for TWR’s digital outreach in Europe will allow us to keep expanding the influence of Jesus via social media.
