Alimento Para el Alma Radio for Mexico
Alimento para el Alma (Food for the Soul) is a devotional book that has been published by TWR in Latin America each year for over 20 years. It is a beloved guide with Scripture and daily encouragement in Spanish that TWR listeners request by the thousands.
It also has a companion audio version broadcast on AM and FM stations throughout Latin America. TWR’s partner in Mexico, Radio Encuentro, surveyed listeners in four of Mexico’s largest cities and found that Alimento Para el Alma is not well known there, although 65% of the population listens to Radio Formula, a national network.
Radio Encuentro is taking on the goal of getting the audio program on Radio Formula five days a week, which will reach its listening audience of 25 million people. Mexicans are part of a secular society that includes polytheistic beliefs, poverty, and widespread gang violence.
