International Director Missionary

International Director for East and Southern Africa: Role Summary
Provide strategic ministry direction for TWR East Africa and southern Africa, overseeing all regional staff, preserving and developing strategic partnerships, as well as maintaining and building capacity for relevant media platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee TWR’s programming in the region, ensuring that it is in line with TWR’s policies and doctrinal statement
- Oversee all TWR national and international staff in the region
- Encourage the development of TWR partners in the region, including their financial self-sufficiency
- Maintain relationships with organizations with whom TWR has contractual agreements in the region and source new partners
- Develop the budget for the region for approval by the Board and execute ministry activities within a balanced budget
- Support and engage in fundraising efforts within the region and globally, including visits to donors, foundations, and sponsors
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in missions and/or business, or related experience in a similar field
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and one or more other languages relevant to the region
- Experience in media or development, including the changing media landscape and partnering with/developing indigenous ministries to become self-sustainable
- Experience in cross-cultural ministry and leadership development
- Ability to travel to fairly extensively, not to exceed 100 days per year
