Arnold (Arnie) and Dawn Sue Remtema are missionaries with TWR (Trans World Radio) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Arnie is responsible for TWR’s Strategic Ministry Facilitation & Research.
Arnie and Dawn Sue have served with TWR since 1971 on Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands, and in Colombo, Sri Lanka, before moving to Colorado in 1992. Arnie and Dawn Sue were married August 23, 1968, and have two adult daughters: Brenda, born in Bonaire; and Julie, born in Sri Lanka, both presently living in Colorado Springs.
Arnie and Dawn Sue have served in various capacities with TWR and in local churches. Arnie has been involved with TWR as a studio design and maintenance technician, Field Director in Sri Lanka, and Regional Director for South Asia. He served as the Director of the World by Radio International Radio Resource Office involved in research and collaborative media outreach for unreached peoples prior to his present role in strategic ministry facilitation and research.
Discipleship is a primary ministry focus for Arnie and Dawn Sue. Reaching unreached peoples is also one of Arnie’s primary areas of ministry involvement.
Collaborative participation in ministry through TWR, World by Radio, the AD2000 and Beyond Movement, and other ministries and associations have sharpened their appreciation for joint ministry endeavors for Kingdom purposes.
In obedience to their call to missions, Arnie and Dawn Sue have pursued the fulfillment of this call primarily in international cross-cultural ministry.
