Jehiel Ortiz, US Spanish Ministry Development Manager & Thru the Bible Spanish Program Representative, has been part of the TWR family for most of his adult life. He began his involvement with TWR’s ministry in his native country of the Dominican Republic (DR), producing the radio program Entre Jovenes (Among Youth) from 2003 to 2016. During this time, he also volunteered with graphic design, event production, translation of content, and more. 

In 2017, he started his full-time staff role with TWR in the DR. Five years later, Jehiel and his family moved to North Carolina in 2022 to work with the US Spanish Ministry, based at TWR’s global headquarters. 

Jehiel earned his bachelor’s degree in advertising from APEC University in the Dominican Republic, a diploma in biblical studies from the Wisdom & Integrity Institute of the International Baptist Church in the Dominican Republic, and his master’s in marketing and digital communication from IMF Smart Education in Madrid, Spain.   

He has led an active church life, holding various roles such as Bible school teacher, youth leader, deacon, and collaborator in preaching. 

With the Spanish Ministry at TWR, Jehiel focuses on providing media platforms and resources to Spanish churches and ministries in the US so that they can reach their communities for Christ.

Jehiel is married to Yicell, who is a volunteer for the Spanish Ministry and with TWR’s Women of Hope ministry for women as regional coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean. They live with their two children, Laura Isabel and Luis Eduardo, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Jehiel Ortiz, Gerente de Desarrollo Ministerial en Español para Estados Unidos y Representante del Programa en Español A Través de la Biblia, ha sido parte de la familia de RTM durante la mayor parte de su vida adulta. Comenzó su participación en el ministerio de RTM en su país natal, la República Dominicana (RD), produciendo el programa de radio "Entre Jóvenes" desde 2003 hasta 2016. Durante este tiempo, también se desempeñó como voluntario en diseño gráfico, producción de eventos, traducción de contenido, entre otras actividades. 

En 2017, comenzó su rol a tiempo completo en el personal de RTM en la RD. Cinco años después, en 2022, Jehiel y su familia se mudaron a Carolina del Norte para trabajar con el Ministerio Hispano de Estados Unidos, con sede en la sede global de RTM. 

Jehiel obtuvo su licenciatura en Publicidad de la Universidad APEC en la República Dominicana, un diploma en Estudios Bíblicos del Instituto de Sabiduría e Integridad de la Iglesia Internacional Bautista en la República Dominicana, y su maestría en Marketing y Comunicación Digital de IMF Smart Education en Madrid, España.  

Ha tenido una vida activa en la iglesia, desempeñando diversos roles como maestro de escuela bíblica, líder juvenil, diácono y colaborador en la predicación. 

Con el Ministerio Hispano de RTM, Jehiel se enfoca en proporcionar plataformas mediáticas y recursos a iglesias y ministerios hispanos en Estados Unidos para que puedan alcanzar a sus comunidades para Cristo.

Jehiel está casado con Yicell, quien es voluntaria para el Ministerio Hispano y con el Ministerio de Mujeres de Esperanza de RTM como coordinadora regional para América Latina y el Caribe. Viven con sus dos hijos, Laura Isabel y Luis Eduardo, en Raleigh, Carolina del Norte.
