I am not sure how I should start my story since it is a very painful one. I never wanted to talk about my life before, but after I got saved and God healed my emotional wounds, I was encouraged by my friend to share my story with you.

My parents got a divorce when I was 13 years old, and then my father left our home. Since that day I have never seen him again, and I don’t know if he is dead or alive. It was a difficult time, especially for my mother who had to work very hard in order to provide for us. She was unable to make enough money to pay for our rent and basic needs, so she ended up marrying a man who was significantly older than her. He was a very angry and rough man, and he treated us terribly and even started to sexually abuse me. He threatened me not to tell anyone, and said that he would kill my mother and me if I did. For four years I had to endure the abuse until I decided to run away from my home. I then decided to go to a neighboring country where I later came in contact with a lady who was a Christian radio producer. During this time I was pregnant and planning an abortion. However, she encouraged me not to do so, and introduced me to the gospel.

Today, by the Grace of God, I am healed and have found a job so that I can provide for my son. I hope that my story will give hope to many, and I look forward to helping others in my situation.

God bless you and your ministry.
