Assists Regional Finance Director in preparing, recording and/or reviewing financial transactions for the region, payroll/benefits administration, preparing/reviewing budget information, account analysis/audit support, reviewing/testing internal controls, and compliance and government reporting. Addresses financial questions and inquiries from staff. Four-year degree in Accounting (or equivalent as a professional accountant), understanding of US standards for financial statement preparation and familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required. Experience in a computerized accounting environment, managing foreign currencies, and not-for-profit fund accounting is a plus.
