Bi-Lingual Gift Processing Analyst

Purpose and Scope of the Role:

Provide services to and have contact with TWR’s current and prospective US English and Spanish donors in such a way that they may be blessed as they worship God through their giving.

Duties / Responsibilities: 

  • Sort daily mail into batches (broadcast payments, radio appeals, general appeals, etc.) and open envelopes.
  • Examine checks for clarity and prepare daily bank deposit.
  • Handle processing of all types of donations including the set-up and management of recurring credit cards, e-check and Electronic Funds Transfer transactions.
  • Manage changes/additions/deletions/corrections for all donors who give through any of TWR’s automatic giving options; contact donors for new expiration dates, credit card or bank account information.
  • Communicate in Spanish with Hispanic constituents, requests for materials, and any aspect of their giving by email, telephone, letter, etc.
  • Communicate with English donors as necessary regarding any aspect of their giving, making record adjustments, issuing replacement receipts, requests for literature, etc.
  • Confirm accuracy of fellow team member’s entries before receipting, including Automatic Giving Plan and credit card batches.
  • Process and print receipts, appropriately manage those requiring special handling or correction; deliver to Mail Services for folding and stuffing.
  • Update monthly missionary-to-missionary remittance.
  • Take deposits to the bank as required.
  • Perform tasks related to the end of month closing process.
  • Remain current on new accounts, projects and monthly support changes.
  • Perform general data entry functions as required.
  • Assist the Gift Processing Supervisor and/or Director of Donor Services as requested and perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent computer skills, rapid data entry techniques and knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Background in high volume data entry, finance, a medical discipline, customer service or insurance.
  • Donor Direct Studio Enterprise software experience is desirable.
  • Experience with document and check scanning devices is desirable.
  • Leadership/supervisory experience is desirable.

Working Conditions:

  • Sitting at a desk in front of a computer and/or speaking on the phone up to 8 hours per day, at least 28 hours per week.
  • Able to work through the department’s busiest season, November through January.

Qualifications and Core Competencies required:

  • Excellent keyboarding skills with the ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized; able to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines; work periodically and efficiently with a high volume of work.
  • Good verbal and written skills and sensitivity in interacting with and ministering to donors.
  • Possesses ability to work well with fellow Donor Services team members.
  • Has respect among peers regarding integrity and spiritual walk with God.
  • Displays a fervent heart and vision for world missions.
  • Has solid commitment to TWR's mission statement and doctrinal position.
