The Finance Director is part of TWR-Africa's Regional Management Team and directly accountable to TWR's Chief Finance Officer. The job holder's general mission is to provide excellent Finance Services to TWR-Africa and leadership to the Africa Finance Team. Among other responsibilities, s/he will:
- Ensure that regional financial information is reported timely, correctly, and in compliance with US GAAP and TWR policies and procedures.
- Monitor the processing of regional financial activity to ensure transactions are captured accurately in the accounting records and posted on a timely basis.
- Maintain a healthy system of regional internal controls, ensure compliance with the internal controls, and monitor the effectiveness of the internal control environment.
Minimum Candidate Specifications: Bachelors or higher degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience in non-profit finance. Excellent English language and cross-cultural leadership skills.
