Prisoners often spend years in a tiny, dingy cell, where they are exposed to various diseases and rejected by society, family, and friends. In Poland, prisoners are hearing the Word of God and finding acceptance via radio programming. Impuls Polska (TWR Poland) has a large number of contacts and listeners from Polish prisons. Currently, they have more than 1,000 inmates in their database, and the number is increasing every month.
TWR Poland's vision is to reach the inmates in Polish prisons with the good news, providing them with counseling and helping them reintegrate into normal life. Miroslaw Duleba, TWR ministry director in Poland, says "They feel accepted... They are all longing for others who will accept them, and being accepted by God after they have been rejected by the family, friends, and society is the power of the gospel."
Some of the follow-up activities are already being carried out. However, despite the enthusiasm and motivation of the local TWR workers, no funds are available for this additional work. For $20.00, you can provide hope for one inmate, as he gets the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
