Like young people everywhere, the post-modern youth of India are glued to their smartphones using the internet and social media to explore answers to their questions about relationships, addictions, suicidal thoughts, and many other issues of growing up. It is not an audience that typically listens to AM or FM radio, and TWR's staff in South Asia wants to meet them right where they are and introduce them to Jesus Christ.
The Crosswave youth outreach is a series of online videos designed to reach a generation with many media content choices. A second and important component to the project is to have a team of counselors in place to personally guide searching young people in biblical choices and worldview.
TWR's director for South Asia puts it this way: "My passion is that the name of Christ should be heard on this platform and that the spirit of God will use it to influence the lost toward his kingdom."
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to put these videos and a follow-up team in place to serve the youth of India.
