It is increasingly difficult to spread the gospel in the Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Central Asians who express interest in Christianity often risk persecution, and they are more comfortable meeting in homes over a cup of tea than in churches, which are being closed.
The majority of believers are first-generation Christians who need discipleship resources in order to grow. Three of TWR's programs for Central Asia are designed to provide this discipleship: The Way of Righteousness addresses the important question: "How can a man be righteous before God?" from Job 9.
This series of 100 radio programs chronologically presents the stories of the biblical prophets and their clear messages from God. The Christian Home opens listeners' eyes to biblical principles for the family that lead to healthy relationships. And the Christian Youth program encourages young Christians to grow in faith and make wise decisions for the future.
Each of these programs is offered in four to five languages spoken in Central Asia. TWR would like to raise $75,000 in the U.S. to support Central Asian programs in the next year.
