TWR’s newest platform, TWR360, was officially launched on May 31, 2013, with 46 ministries providing more than 8,000 pieces of media content in five fully deployed languages. Since the launch, TWR360 has accumulated more than 40,000 page views from 7,000-plus visitors. All of the available languages have been employed as visitors from more than 133 nations have used content on the site.
By enabling people to access a wide range of Christian digital resources, TWR360 supports the mission of fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission. The site allows anyone, anywhere, at any time to access sound biblical content through a single, multilingual Web portal. The platform serves as a location for TWR’s massive catalog of programming that can be accessed on a single site free from language barriers and time constraints.
Visitors to the site are able find a wide variety of content ranging from preaching and Bible teaching to children’s and women’s programs. Content comes from ministries and programs such as David Platt’s Radical, FamilyLife Today, Craig Church Ministries, Heralds of Hope, Thru the Bible, Keep Believing Ministries and Leading the Way. Churches and other ministries with hearts for reaching the world for Christ now have an opportunity to extend their reach as their content is made available in native tongues across the globe.
The fully translated site is user-friendly and currently is available in English, Mandarin, Spanish, Russian and Arabic. By May 2014, TWR360 will include 17 languages with the addition of Bengali, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Punjabi, Swahili, Telugu and Vietnamese. With all these languages available, TWR360 will have a potential reach of 56 percent of the world!
“This is TWR’s new digital delivery platform that can touch the whole world in each user’s heart language,” says TWR President Lauren Libby. “We’re really excited about this dynamic new tool and look forward to people using it to access God’s Word anywhere at any time.”
The world abounds with lost people looking for purpose, but there also are lots of ministries seeking to reach the lost. TWR360 provides the necessary link between the two so that “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”
The future looks bright for TWR360 as TWR launches an international marketing campaign, new ministries join the site and new languages developments further TWR360’s international relevance. Add to these developments the summer 2013 launch of Android and Apple applications for TWR360 along with Hindi as its sixth language and TWR’s newest platform clearly is staying on a roll.
