TWR president Lauren Libby greets broadcast partner Dr. David Jeremiah during a recent preaching event in North Carolina.

TWR has partnered with California-based Turning Point Radio and Television Ministries to translate, produce and transmit Dr. David Jeremiah’s biblical teachings in the Hindi language. Striving to reach listeners in and around India for Jesus Christ, Turning Point’s 30-minute broadcast will air five days a week.

TWR expects the Hindi programs to begin airing in early 2016 from a strategically located high-powered transmitting site. Programs will air for a period of at least four years. In addition, Dr. Jeremiah’s teaching in Hindi will be featured on the premier online platform TWR360.org.

“We trust that God will use our partnership to effectively reach more people for Christ, and we are thankful for this opportunity,” says Dr. Jeremiah, founder of Turning Point and senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California.

Turning Point chose Hindi as an expansion of its international footprint through its “Going Global” initiative, which is based on a 21st-century Great Commission strategy to translate and transmit programming around the world. Nearly 425 million people speak Hindi as a first language, and approximately 120 million as a second language.

“TWR is privileged and grateful to co-labor with Turning Point in reaching a huge population of the world,” says TWR President Lauren Libby. “Dr. Jeremiah’s sound biblical teaching will be valuable to all who hear.”

Turning Point’s mission is to “Deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world.” Dr. Jeremiah’s teaching program is broadcast on more than 3,000 radio and television stations in the United States and throughout the world, including Africa, Canada, the Far East, India, Mexico, the Philippines, Spain, the United Kingdom, and every Spanish-speaking country in Central and South America.
