Spanish devotional Alimento para el Alma (Food for the Soul) continues its long-standing popularity with people across Latin America. More than 50,000 copies of the most recent edition have been sold or distributed this year.

Many of TWR's partners in Latin America sell and give away the soft-cover devotional book, which contains 365 daily devotionals. The spiritual ruminations are written by various ministry leaders and mature Christians from Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela and elsewhere.

"The unique thing about Alimento para el Alma is that it is written in Spanish by Hispanic speakers, so it's not translated from English into Spanish," Jim Munger says. "People in Latin America definitely appreciate the authenticity of it."

TWR also distributes a five-minute companion radio program that airs daily on various stations throughout Latin America. The first edition of the printed devotional came out 10 years ago.

To purchase a copy of the devotional book for just $5, visit http://www.twr.org/resources/catalog.html?cat=&item=68.
