God is at work through a special project called "Shoes For Orphan Souls." I've experienced it first hand. If you've never heard of "Shoes For Orphan Souls," it's the largest humanitarian aid project of Buckner International. In my previous work at WMBW in Chattanooga, TN, the station's listeners donated thousands of new shoes and new socks each August. These shoes and socks were boxed, loaded on a truck, and then hauled to Dallas to the Buckner Center for Humanitarian Aid. From there, the shoes are shipped around the world where teams of volunteers place them on the feet of orphans and children in poverty. Not only have I helped collect shoes, I've had the honor of being part of three shoe delivery trips to Oaxaca, Mexico. While washing children's feet and fitting them with new shoes and socks, I literally have seen miracles happen! There is no doubt, as the old song says, that "Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world." I've seen it. Through "Shoes For Orphan Souls," I've seen the love of Jesus poured out over and over again on His little ones.
