God works in mysterious ways.  For instance, we know from 1 Corinthians chapter 1 that God chooses to use "what is foolish," "weak," and "low" to accomplish his purposes.  So, should we be surpised when we hear that God sometimes uses on-air fundraising events ("Share," "Share-a-thon," "Friend-Raiser," etc.) on Christian radio stations to bring people to Christ?  I've seen it happen before.  Or, should we be surprised at today's story on Footsteps where a TWR radio fund-raising campaign was the vehicle that God used to call Rachel Mehlhaff's to missionary service?  Indeed, God works in mysterious way...even through fundraisers!
