Cassius and Valerie Smith have been with TWR since June 2010. They came to TWR as second career missionaries.

Cassius retired in 2009 after working 32 years as a software developer and project manager in the defense industry. Valerie worked as a graphic artist in the early years of their marriage, and then was a stay-at-home mom. She returned to the workforce as an administrative assistant.

Cassius works with TWR President Lauren Libby as his Deputy. Valerie works with the TWR Women of Hope team in Cary, and produces the Women of Hope radio program in English.

Cassius and Valerie reside in Cary, NC. They have two married children and two very precious grandsons.

We are so grateful for your support and encouragement! Please tell us how we can reciprocate and pray for you. Recently we heard a friend give suggestions how to pray for those in ministry. He said, “All Christians face the same daily pressures. Pray for your fellow believers for:

boldness in their witness for Christ,
for their marriage and family relationships,
and for their personal walk with God.”

We heartily agree!
