John and Carol were both born and raised in West Africa. They have served with TWR since 1996. In 1992, while in college, John participated in an internship with TWR in Swaziland. Beginning in 1998, the Ragsdales lived in Kempton Park, South Africa, where John served part of the time as the program director at the Africa Regional Office.
In 2015 the Ragsdale family moved to Europe. Today John and Carol are stationed in Europe where John serves as a ministry leader for North Africa. In Africa, John’s responsibilities included overseeing the Program Development department. He oversaw strategic program development for all of TWR’s broadcasts in Africa. This responsibility involved supporting and directing the people who manage the programs.
Carol has been a stay-at-home mom caring for the needs of the family over the years. She facilitates a weekly Bible study and helps John in the worship music ministry of the local church. Their son Jean Marc and daughter Nicole are attending Toccoa Falls College in the USA.
John and Carol seek to be a witness for Christ in their family, in the local church, in their community and in their ministry with TWR.
