Jeremy, his wife Tammy, and their two children Emma (13) and Cole (9) were appointed by TWR to Guam in 2019. The Weavers will be re-locating from Anchorage, Alaska where Jeremy works for a telecommunication provider as a telecommunication/electrical engineer. Tammy is a nurse (RN) and currently works at a local hospital as the Outpatient Services Director.
Jeremy grew up attending a Christian and Missionary Alliance church that his grandfather started in Anchorage in 1982. Always interested in missionary work, Jeremy went on several missionary trips as a youth and spent a year in China while attending a C&MA Bible College in Regina, Saskatchewan. After graduating from Bible College, Jeremy got a job as a tower rigger and telecommunication installer. Over the years, he got into the engineering side of the business, returning to university to obtain an electrical engineering degree.
A decision to trust in Christ and to be His disciple without any reservations resulted in a growing excitement to see God at work and to play a greater part in His plans to bless every nation. There is a need for the world to know that they are blessed by being invited to be a part of God’s kingdom where there is hope and abundant life. TWR is a perfect fit!
The Weavers are currently in the ministry partnership development (MPD) phase of their ministry. Once they have a ministry team in place to pray and fund them, Jeremy will start his role providing technical services to the TWR Guam transmitter site. The site requires regular maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to its broadcasting equipment to ensure that the message of the gospel stays on the air!
