Anne was born on the night of a lunar event (true story!), the youngest daughter of a Californian and an Alabamian, and grew up in Marietta, Georgia. It was during her senior year at Bryan College in Tennessee that she learned about TWR. After graduating with a degree in English Literature in 2005, Anne served as a summer intern with TWR Europe in Vienna, Austria, where she fell in love with Viennese coffee and was amazed to discover that not all missionaries are church planters or evangelists. After sensing that the Lord was prompting her to serve longer with TWR, Anne moved to Austria in 2007. She spent three years working in the Marketing and Communications department, first as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Public Relations and Fund Development (yes, that job title took up two lines on a business card!) and later as the Editor of Print and Web Content. She still considers her three years in Europe as one of the best decisions she's ever made (right below her decisions to follow Jesus at age 10 and to attend Bryan College from 2001-2005. The choice to bleach her hair blond in college, however, does not factor in on the list of "good decisions").
In May 2010, Anne moved to TWR's US headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, where she now works as the Missionary Appointment Coordinator helping to equip and send new TWR missionaries to their service locations. Anne's primary responsibilities include planning and executing Candidate MEDIA Days for those exploring missionary service with TWR and Appointee Training and Orientation Days for newly appointed missionaries. Since it has become clear to Anne that God’s dreams for us are bigger than our own, her life motto is “never say never.” In her spare time, Anne enjoys cooking, movies, quoting movies, reading, guessing games, and laughing.
