TWR Country Focus: Venezuela
When TWR was born about 65 years ago, the ministry was built almost totally upon a model of radio broadcasting. After all, radio has the power to cross great distances, connect with people in their homes or on the job, and overcome geographic and political barriers.
Those things are still true, and radio still is a major part of what we do. But technological advances have presented new ways to communicate with people, and TWR takes advantage of them to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.
I write from Venezuela to thank you for the work you all carry out so that we can listen online to the program Thru the Bible. In this way I can keep up with the lessons when I have free time to do so.
Many times I managed to hear the radio, but I could never finish [the five-year series of lessons], and with God's favor, this time I will succeed. Each lesson has been a blessing to my life.
I have learned a lot; I have been able to take notes and study hard. God is good and wants his people to learn more each day.
Thank you very much and blessings to all.
