Perry and Jodi

In response to God’s call to serve with TWR, the Beabouts were accepted as appointees in June 1995. In March 1998, they moved to Slovakia, where Perry worked as an engineer and Jodi home-schooled their children.

In August 2003, Perry and Jodi moved to Elkhart, Ind., and were seconded to HCJB Global to work at the technology center. Perry has been working in the service department for low-power FM transmitters. In 2012, they traveled to Guam to help the engineering team with a transmitter installation.

After becoming empty nesters, they felt GOD calling them back to return to Guam to join the team again.  Originally they were planning to be there by the end of 2014.  However, do to unforseen circumstances and family matters, they got there at the end of summer 2016.

Jodi has been working in the local elementary school as a paraprofessional. She specializes in working with special-needs children.

The Beabout's sending church is Calvary Bible Church of Mount Joy, PA.

Prayer Requests

Please pray with us concerning our ongoing support need.   When we arrived on Guam back a the end of August we were fully supported and looking forward to getting involved in the ministry here on Guam. God has bless and we are involved and we are glad to be here.  Jodi has been busy with several things she enjoys such as event planning.  She recently planned a going away luncheon for a couple who had worked here with TWR for 26 years.  That went really well.  Now, she has been asked to arrange the 40th year anniversary celebration for TWR Guam.  I am glad she has found her spot on the team and she is able to use her gifts.

In addition to that, I have been in training to replace the chief engineer.   He is moving on to another position.  I am glad for the opportunity, but I do feel overwhelmed at times with all that I need to learn.  With all of these changes, we have also been asked to join the team on a long-term basis and not the 18-month commitment we originally planned for.   We are praying and asking the Lord to lead us to follow His plan.

I had mentioned earlier arriving and being fully supported.   Since our arrival, we have lost $600/mo in support   We were blessed recently to see an increase in support by $100/mo.   We still lack $500/mo.   As much as we desire to stay here we also can not follow that plan undersupported.  Please pray with us that this support need would be met so we can continue working with the team here for the sake of reaching Asia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
