Short-term Assignments
Thinking about wading into the "wave" pool? TWR offers short-term assignments from six months to two years.

Long-term Assignments
Ready to dive, head first, into the "waves"? TWR has many long-term assignments that need to be filled.
READ MORETrans World Radio is passionate about reaching the world for Christ through mass media. Long-term missionary roles (three years or more) vary widely depending on the needs of a given location. Positions center around the production, distribution and support of multimedia ministry, but also include many other administrative and nontechnical needs. So many people move through life without discovering or utilizing their passion to make a lasting impact. But for those whose personal journey is stirring them toward cross-cultural ministry, TWR is here to help them use their skills for an eternal purpose.

Internships
Need class credit, but you want to make a difference in the process? TWR offers four- to 12-week internships.
READ MORETWR interns experience on-the- job training that relates to their field of interest/study while at the same time meeting real needs. Most internships last about 8 to 12 weeks. TWR will complete any required internship paperwork for the student to receive appropriate credit, and will provide on-site transportation (if applicable) and furnished housing. Available internship positions vary from year to year depending on current needs, but possible assignment locations include Austria, Benin, Canada, the Caribbean, South Africa, Slovakia, the United States (Cary, NC). - Minimum of two years of college level study or equivalent work experience.
- Must raise support, usually between $3,000 and $5,000 which includes the intern's paycheck, taxes, rent and roundtrip airfare. Interns not carrying international health insurance coverage will be responsible to purchase temporary international health insurance.
- Completed paperwork before approval and assignment to a location includes preliminary questionnaire (PQ) and resume; short-term application; medical history (no doctor required); reference request form; doctrinal questionnaire.

Discovery Trips
Want to try out missions, but not ready to quit your day job just yet? TWR offers discovery trips from four weeks to five months.
READ MOREDiscovery trips, from four weeks to five months, provide the opportunity for people to learn about international missions while working in one's field of interest. These trips help to meet real needs, often filling in for missionaries on furlough. Trips vary depending on current needs, but possible locations for assignment include: Guam, Swaziland, Bonaire, Austria, South Africa, Slovakia, Benin, Singapore and the Netherlands.
Requirements:
- Willingness to raise support for the length of the term.
- Must produce proof of international health insurance coverage or purchase it before departure.
- Completed paperwork before approval and assignment which includes preliminary questionnaire and resume, short-term application, medical history (no doctor required), reference request form and doctrinal questionnaire

Volunteer
In a place where you can volunteer? TWR is always looking for willing individuals to give of their talents and time to ministry.
READ MOREVolunteer service may be short- or long-term. Retirees often provide great experience and expertise through volunteering in the United States and overseas locations. Missions trip groups can also volunteer to visit TWR sites and help with larger projects, like construction, which missionaries might be unable to complete due to insufficient resources or workers.
