For over ten years, TWR's Project Hannah has been ministering to women across the world. Join us in praying that the Lord will continue to do a mighty work in this powerful ministry.- Please pray for Project Hannah’s (PH) Women of Hope (WoH) production teams as they prepare programs and seminars that help women understand the dangers of seeking jobs away from home. Women and young girls are lured into the illegal and financially profitable industry of transporting and selling human beings for the purpose of sex trafficking.
- Pray also for little girls who are in danger of being sold or kidnapped and forced to service men’s desires. Pray that pimps and family members will be arrested for using and abusing these children. Give thanks for the recent arrest in the United States of over 600 adults who were forcing children into prostitution.
- Pray for protection and dignity for women and little girls in India where abortion, infanticide, rape, kidnapping, dowry deaths and being sold are common fates. Pray for those who are protesting so that laws will be enforced, criminals will be punished and victims will be helped.
- Pray for WoH listeners from other religious backgrounds who are seeking the Truth. “I am a daughter of a family belonging to a different faith. By listening to your WoH program my life has been greatly influenced. I am anxious to know more about Jesus. I also desire to share the truth with others, and hence I want to be educated further on this. Could you please send me some useful literature? Do uphold my family in your prayers.”
- Pray for the WoH production teams working on six languages in Central Asia (Central Asian Russian, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Tajik, Turkmen and Uzbek) as they provide programs that will reach isolated women who long to know their Creator and to understand His truths. Pray that funds and/or producers will be provided for other Central Asian/Middle Eastern/North African languages as well as for Central Eastern Europe languages (Bulgaria, Croatian, Romanian and Slovak).
- Rejoice with us that WoH listeners and prayer group members in Kenya and other countries have seen God work miracles in their lives. Husbands that abandoned some have returned home, the sick have been healed and some have found employment. God is working to change lives, families and communities. Praise His Name!
- Pray for prayer groups that are reaching out to women who are in poverty, girls who have escaped slavery and wives who have HIV/AIDS. Pray for the PH prayer group in Mozambique as they show God’s love to a widow who is HIV positive by helping her and her children bathe, providing food and other small needs.
- Praise the Lord that through WoH, isolated Christians are receiving knowledge and encouragement from the Word of God. A Cambodian woman writes: “This program has been an encouragement to me. I have learned to be patient and to show love toward my family and neighbors even though they hate me because I am a Christian. Your program has helped me through my difficulties. Now I can walk bravely in the Lord.”
- Praise the Lord for listeners in prisons whose lives have been changed as prayer groups reach out to them with God’s love. “I was sentenced to 10 years of prison. I was weak and desperate. But the PH women ministered the Word of God to me and prayed for me. After only 10 months I was out of prison. Today my family and I are Christians and we do cell group prayer in our house.”
