I Found Joy and Peace
CAMBODIA — Here is the testimony of a long-time Women of Hope listener, who shared with our co-workers how the programme impacted her life these past 15 years:
“My husband had abandoned us. I was left to bring up four children without him. It was a very discouraging time for me and I faced many uncertainties in life. I felt hopeless and devoid of happiness.
"I do not know how the days passed, but I remember one date very clearly ... 28 August 2004, when I accepted Jesus into my life. Everything changed from then on.
"I started to listen to the Women of Hope radio programme and learned many lessons from it. It also gave me strength and the power to go on. Because of God’s words and encouragement shared on the programme, I did not give up. Instead I found joy, strength and peace.
"As a result, my life is now joyful because of Jesus who is my Saviour. I give thanks to him who gives me a new life. Now I can bravely share the gospel with other people. Praise the Lord!"
