Critical Needs
TWR-Europe's Technical Department is planning an upgrade of a medium wave transmitter in Tartu, Estonia, from 100,000 to 200,000 watts. This is necessary in order to reach the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, and Minsk with a good signal.

The Vienna office is currently trying to raise funds for a suitable replacement. The insurance covers a large amount but not enough to get a replacement of the same quality.
LEARN MORETWR-Europe works closely with 30 partners from across the region—27 in Europe, one in Russia and one each in the Middle East and Central Asia. Not only do they cooperate in the broadcasts, but they also join with TWR in seminars, conferences and program sponsorships for Third World countries. TWR-Russia produces programs at studios in St. Petersburg and Krasnoyarsk.
