Cary, NC, June 12, 2007—Trans World Radio (TWR) President/CEO David Tucker announced on June 5 that Tim Klingbeil has been named International Director for the Americas, effective immediately. The appointment, which follows the recommendation from Tucker, was ratified last week by TWR’s Board of Directors. Klingbeil has faithfully served the international broadcasting organization for more than 20 years, most recently as chief development officer and team leader of the Americas region. He is based in TWR’s Cary, NC, office.

A Chicago native, Klingbeil earned a diploma from Moody Bible Institute in 1978 and worked in MBI’s Stewardship Department from 1980-1986. He is an alumnus of Biola University, where he acquired a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education. He also holds an MBA from Loyola University. Klingbeil has served on the Standards Committee of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability from 1998-2004.
