TWR MOTION, a ministry of TWR, tells God’s story through animated videos. We believe people of all cultures deserve to hear about Jesus in a way they understand. That’s why we create videos that are culturally appropriate, gospel-centered and useful to church planters using digital disciple-making strategies.

Note: this position is a supported missionary role, not a direct hire opportunity.

Supported missionaries develop a team of partners who provide financially for their full salary and benefits as a part of this role. TWR provides training, resources, and coaching to help missionaries reach these financial support goals!

Project Coordinator with TWR MOTION: Cary, NC (USA)

The TWR MOTION team is looking for a missionary to serve as an Project Coordinator to work with global partners for the translation and production of evangelistic videos. 

Why we need you:

Our animated videos are instrumental in sharing God’s story with the world. Translating and producing these videos in new languages allows people from more cultures hear about Jesus in a language they understand.

As a project coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between our church planting partners, who are eager to translate our videos, and TWR’s audio production teams across the globe. Your responsibility is to ensure that the project is executed on time and with excellence. You will report to the adaptation manager and collaborate closely with the adaptation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with partners and production teams during translation and production to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow.
  • Managing production projects, overseeing the process from quote approval to final quality checks and delivery.
  • Contributing to the development of streamlined workflows, processes and communication strategies.
  • Resolving issues and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting post-project reviews to analyze successes and areas for improvement, documenting lessons learned for future projects.

Requirements:

  • A commitment to Jesus Christ, demonstrated through a personal relationship.
  • Enthusiasm for full-time missionary work, including building a support network of prayer and financial partners.
  • Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Some knowledge of video production, or a willingness to learn.
  • Team player with the capacity to work independently.
  • The ability to learn quickly and have a high level of motivation.
  • Humility, adaptability, and cultural awareness. (We work a lot with people in other cultures!)
  • The capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Bonus skills (not required):

  • Background in customer service.
  • Cross-cultural and/or previous missions experience.
  • Video and audio software experience.
  • Foreign language fluency and literacy.
  • Availability to work from our office in Cary, North Carolina.
