After an incredible week full of worship, prayer, laughter, tears, encouragement and ministry updates, the Project Hannah Americas Forum in Curitiba, Brazil came to a close on Saturday, September 4, 2010.
Marlene and Wesley Vasques led worship, and gifts were presented to Marli and Edmund Spieker, Tina Sessoms, Susie Pek and several others.
The ladies enjoyed watching a slideshow of pictures captured throughout their week together. The microphone was then opened up for people to say what they are taking away. “Many blessings, gratitude…new friends, a time of growth…renewed hope and joy for the Project Hannah ministry.” These were just some of the words used to describe the forum.
Each woman received a beautiful compact mirror, given to remind them of their beauty in God’s eyes. “To be a woman is to be a reflection,” Marli said. “We were created to reflect God’s light and glory.”
The ceremony closed with the old hymn, “Great is Thy Faithfulness.”
