Meet Marco

Marconi–Marco to his friends–is a hyperactive microphone who loves nothing more than to zoom around the world, showing kids what missions is all about. Well, that and eating sticky rice...oh, and surfing! He likes that, too.

California-born Marco, an only child, was the center of attention, and was named class clown in his school every year. After graduation, Marco traveled with a band for a year and visited dozens of countries. While he stood on stage, he looked down at the listening crowds. Some people were sad, some angry, some lonely. Marco started thinking how he could tell them about Jesus.

At an airport he met a set of reel-to-reel tapes on their way to a Trans World Radio station. It was a long flight, so Marco talked with the tapes. They told him all about Trans World Radio. Marco decided TWR was the kind of work he wanted to commit his cord to, and the rest is history.
