The country of China is in Northeast Asia. To the north of China are the countries of Mongolia and Russia, to the east are Korea and Japan and to the south are countries like India, Cambodia and the Philippines. China is the fourth biggest country in the world. The United States [including Alaska] is only slightly larger in size than China. China is divided into provinces. The capital city, Beijing, is in the northeast part of the country.
