Biography

In 1965, Charlie went to Bonaire for two weeks to visit some friends from college. He stayed for 34 years. In November 1965, Miss Billie Peaco arrived.  And you know the end of this story. Billie would'nt let him off the island until he asked her to marry him.

The Bonaire team at that time was a young group, and there was a special camaraderie among the staff. And even though the group is scattered around the world today, they are still very close. God gave a special union to these old “Bonaireites,” and Charlie and Billie are very thankful for those special years on Bonaire. 

In 1999, the Wills returned to the U.S. to help Billie's mother. They wanted to stay involved in ministry, and the Lord opened the door. On March 15, 1999, the Wills arrived in Madison, Ga., and now serve the Lord at Source of Light Ministries. Charlie works in the computer area and Billie is mission hostess and editor of the Reaper, SLM's quarterly magazine.

The Wills have two children: Michael, living in Virginia, and Kim, living in Florida.
