Ministry Projects : Project Hannah Burmese (Myanmar)

Facing great difficulties and spiritual darkness, Burmese women in Myanmar are often left with a sense of worthlessness. Many are depressed and discouraged with life because of the discrimination against them. They live in destitute conditions which often include being victims of the sex trade, and many suffer in their own homes with little or no self-worth.

TWR's Project Hannah started the Women of Hope program for suffering Burmese women in July of 1999. The teaching offers encouragement to Burmese women of all ages by bringing the love of God to them, and offering them the comfort of knowing Jesus as their personal Savior -- who alone can save them from their sins. The hope they need is clearly presented each week in this 30-minute broadcast in the Burmese dialect.

Our desire is to continue broadcasting this program each week, which includes helpful lessons for life and biblical principles from God’s Word.

Would you like to be a part of this wonderful mission to reach the Burmese women of Myanmar who need the comfort Jesus? Please prayerfully consider giving a contribution of $100 or more toward this ministry.
