Ministry Projects : Reaching Out to HIV/AIDS Victims in Angola

Six percent of the Angolan population is presently infected with HIV/AIDS.* Much of the spread of HIV could be prevented if information were available to remote, rural areas of Angola.
TWR is preparing a magazine-style program to inform, encourage and care for HIV/AIDS victims and their families. The program is being developed in the Umbundu language, which is the largest ethnic group in Angola. It will impact Umbundu speakers as the program shares with them the reality of HIV/AIDS and ways to help them change their sexual behaviour in hope that the rate of affected people may decrease by 2011.
Your gift of $100 to this crucial ministry initiative will help us turn the tide of death and pain HIV/AIDS is causing in Africa.
