Ministry Projects : Seeker-Oriented Programs for Youth in India (Hindi)

The poverty among Indian youth is staggering. One hundred million have dropped out of school. Fifty percent live below the poverty line.* Millions of India’s next generation are coming out of homelessness, bonded slavery and child abuse. Before them is the temptation to either accept mistreatment and pain as their lot in life or to lash out in anger.

Radio is a source of entertainment and companionship for India’s young adults, but religious programming on local radio stations is prohibited. A way must be found to bring Jesus to India’s youth, the only One who can give them the peace and guidance they need.

Taking advantage of the popularity of FM radio among India’s youth, TWR wants to air seeker-oriented programming on local stations throughout the country. These 30-minute, weekly broadcasts would open the door for Indian young adults aged 16-30 to consider the principles of the Bible and how they can be applied to their daily lives. Once young people become interested in learning more, they can correspond with TWR-India staff who will answer their questions and disciple them in the Word of God.

Through your gift of $100 or more , you can be a part of this tremendous opportunity to change the hearts of India's rising generations
