Ministry Projects : National Listeners Meeting - India
Through TWR’s programs, many Indians have come to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. However, they often do so at great personal cost – some become virtual orphans, thrown out of their homes and rejected by their communities. They need someone to be there for them in this time of need.
Through its National Listeners Meeting, TWR-India seeks to gather 1000-2000 such affected listeners from across the country and give them the opportunity to meet up with TWR-India’s program producers over a three-day period. We hope to provide these listeners the Christian fellowship they so desire, as well as face-to-face counseling. We seek to strengthen their faith through the life-changing testimonies of others in similar situations, and in so doing to help them to face the challenges that they encounter after coming to Christ.
The vision of this meeting is to make listeners into worshippers in spirit and in truth, and then into leaders who will be able to serve in their local communities.
Your donation of $100 will cover the costs of travel, accommodation, meals and other daily needs for the meeting, but more importantly afford a young Christian from India the opportunity to be strengthened within a community of believers.
