Ministry Projects : Mocuba FM Station & Studio - Phase 2 & 3

The TWR Studio in Mocuba

Although the Church played an important role in ending Mozambique's civil war, political instability, the aftermath of war and a general lack of infrastructure have made it extremely difficult for missionaries to reach the Lomwe people of Mozambique. A largely oral culture, many of the believers and potential Christian leaders cannot read or write. Therefore, these individuals need to learn the Scriptures through the spoken word in their own language and cultural mindset. Most in the Mocuba district of Mozambique have little or no access to the Word of God in any form.

TWR's broadcasts into Mozambique have seen an incredible number of people come to Jesus Christ in the past 15 years. With the first phase completed, TWR is now working toward Phase 2, which seeks to upgrade office and studio equipment, as well as purchase a generator and UPS electricity backup system amid regular power outages. After this is completed, workers will move into Phase 3, getting the FM station on the air to Mocuba, where currently no Christian FM stations are broadcasting. With this vital tool built in the middle of Mocuba's highly populated district, TWR hopes to create programs and follow-up correspondence tailor-made to the needs of the area.

Please prayerfully consider a gift of $100 to help speak the Word of God into the lives of men, women and children in Mozambique.
