Ministry Projects : New Journey - Program for Vietnamese New Believers

The Holy Spirit has been working in the hearts of Vietnamese people, even after Communism took over in the 1970s. Churches are organizing and sending workers to remote areas to share the gospel. Still, the numbers of those coming to Christ has been small. Those who are just beginning their first steps with Christ may become discouraged, as churches treat them as seasoned believers and neglect their early spiritual development. In the face of social and political persecution, these young Christians do not have the spiritual nourishment they need to become established in their faith.

To assist Vietnamese churches, TWR is producing shortwave radio programs like New Journey, aimed at building up new believers. Listeners will learn how to apply the Bible to their daily lives, to overcome temptation, to witness to others and to be good stewards of the gifts God has given them. Giving these young Christians a solid foundation will not only help their personal spiritual lives, but also fuel the growth of Christianity in Vietnam. New Journey's message can also help unbelievers with questions find their answers in Jesus Christ.

A gift of $50 can put a set of 65 episodes of New Journey in the hands of an eager, young believer. A gift of any amount will go a long way to producing, airing and distributing this life-changing program.
