Ministry Projects : Playout Automation System Upgrade

When playout errors occur in TWR's broadcasts, all sorts of problems can occur. The program may become difficult to listen to, be interrupted, or even cut off completely. With so many listeners clinging to the wisdom and companionship created by our broadcasts, these errors are unacceptable barriers. They also cost TWR money in airtime and personnel, taking funds away from other necessary work.

With the advances of satellite technology, it is now possible to deliver programs to remote transmitter sites prior to the time they air. This allows programs to be checked and have their problems solved before they are broadcast. In order for TWR to make full use of this advance in technology and be most effective, our playout system needs to be upgraded.
