Ministry Projects : Voice of a Friend - Radio Program in Belarus

The religious freedom of the post-Communist era seems to be fading in Belarus. Christianity of all denominations has flourished in recent years, although powerful religious institutions have attempted to restrict the activities of smaller Christian groups. Aside from this, Belarus is still struggling to find a national identity after independence and continues to feel the effects from the Chernobyl catastrophe in 1986. In the midst of this instability, the radio program Voice of a Friend is presenting a timely answer to the needs of Belarusian listeners, mostly young people, Christians and non-Christians alike. The program aims to help listeners hear and give attention to the voice of God, the best and most trustworthy Friend.

Your gift of $75 will help cover the costs of production and airtime for this vital program. Thank you for prayerfully considering this important project.
