Ministry Projects : Radio Programs for Children in Ukraine
Children in Ukraine face many challenges. In a country where nearly 30 percent of people live in poverty, HIV/AIDS is spreading fast. Children’s health is poor, and the number of children in institutions is rising. Ukrainian children, like all young people, need acceptance, love, and help understanding who they are. These children love stories and ask many questions, such as: "Why does God send us trials and give us blessings? Why do people hide their thoughts, actions and sins from God if He is all-knowing anyway? Why is God not coming down to earth anymore? How do people know how and when God came into being? How did God mix the languages of the people? Does He know them all?"
The Little Spring is a radio program produced by TWR-Ukraine that aims to plant seeds of Christ in children’s hearts, which they will remember throughout their lives. The things they learn through this program will help them when they search for their way through various situations as they grow up. The Little Path is another children's program produced by TWR's partner ministry - 'Light in the East', to give children biblical teaching, as well as practical advice, guidance and help to grow in their relationship with the living God.
