Ministry Projects : The Entrepreneur - Program for Small Businesses in Zimbabwe
In the African nation of Zimbabwe, drought, chronic shortages, HIV/AIDS and hyperinflation are leading to a national crisis. Men and women struggle to make ends meet, to feed their families and care for their home villages. Many of those who wish to start their own small businesses lack training, resources and the experience of a solid Christian professional to show them the way to financial stability and independence.
Seeing this need, TWR-Africa has developed The Entrepreneur, a program in the Shona and African English languages, designed to assist listeners in starting their own faith-based small businesses. Each week, The Entrepreneur will discuss a broad range of topics such as finances, marketing, customer care, community responsibility and biblical mentoring. It is hoped that not only will these faith-based businesses improve the lives of their owners and families, but entire communities as well, gradually lifting Zimbabwe out of its economic crisis.
