Ministry Projects : China's Orality Project for the Nosu (Yi) People

The Nosu, also called the Yi by the Chinese government, are one of the least-reached people groups in China. They live in great fear of demons, and exorcism, divination and appeasement of spirits are major parts of their lives. Cults have infiltrated the region over the years, greatly misrepresenting the gospel message. Still, the Nosu today are showing signs of warming toward the good news unlike anything seen in previous centuries.

To take advantage of this spiritual thaw, TWR is broadcasting the only evangelistic and nurturing radio program in the Nosu language, to reach more than 2 million residing in southern China. Sharing the Gospel with bible stories and sound biblical teaching, we hope to introduce Jesus Christ to the Nosu people and help the Nosu Church grow in maturity. TWR plans to further develop indigenous believers through partnerships with various field workers.

Your gift of $100 will enable us to touch the hearts of this oral culture that desperately needs to hear that Jesus Christ can set them free.
