Ministry Projects : Vietnamese Listener Group Care

Thousands of listener groups have been formed in Vietnam as a result of TWR's radio distribution project. As many Vietnamese people do not write letters and cannot afford postage, TWR workers travel from village to village to follow up with listeners and obtain valuable reports on reception and community needs. Follow up even includes pastoral care for those who may never have a full-time pastor in their area. Currently, two TWR staff members conduct follow-up, with one handling correspondence and the other traveling throughout Vietnam. It is difficult work due to poor road conditions. It is also dangerous for Christian workers who are monitored as they cross through the highlands and risk interrogation by officials.
TWR would like to fund the addition of two more follow-up workers so that Vietnam can be split into three section, instead of only one worker covering the entire country. This would remove stress from the current workers and allow them to provide more comprehensive care to many thirsty souls. TWR-Vietnam estimates that over half of the nation's cities could be reached and 60 groups or church leaders could be visited on a monthly basis.
Your generous gift of $75 will help provide needed follow-up workers in Vietnam.
