Ministry Projects : Central Asia Outreach

It is becoming increasingly difficult to spread the gospel to the Central Asian region. Believers are experiencing persecution, churches are being closed, cross-cultural workers are being forced to leave the region and Christian organizations are being shut down. The majority of Central Asian believers are first-generation Christians and do not have a heritage of Christianity that they can draw from when facing difficulties.

TWR is seeking to provide the radio programs listed below to train and prepare the believers of this region to stand firm in their faith and help others along in their spiritual journey:

House Church allows Central Asians to gather in homes over a cup of tea and listen to the broadcast while discussing the material together. Radio can play an important role in the establishment of house churches and ministering to small groups. These weekly programs cover topics such as the characteristics of a leader, what makes a church, and the importance of love. This program is aired in the Turkmen, Russian, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Tajik and Kazakh languages.

The Christian Home supports the foundation of society—the family unit—with biblical principles. The family is an important focus of our ministry in Central Asia. The strict religion, customs and traditions of the region greatly impact the family. This program teaches parents about raising children and the relationship between husbands and wives. Central Asian believers give testimonies that God exists, and the Bible is a book they can trust.

The Way of Righteousness is a collection of 100 programs produced for young adults from a non-Christian background. It helps them realize that Jesus Christ is more than just a prophet. He is the Son of God and gave His life for our salvation. Beginning with the Torah of Moses, this book journeys through the writings of the prophets to view God's unalterable purpose throughout human history and explain how a man can be righteous before God.

Childrens Corner reaches the lost children of Central Asia. It only takes about $75 to produce one 15-minute episode. Please consider partnering with TWR to bring the truth of Jesus Christ to the children of Kazakhstan.

Christian Youth shares the gospel with Kyrgyz youth, many of whom have had to cope with deep suffering, hopelessness and destruction. Our vision is to bring hope in Jesus Christ to these youth with inviting programming.

Through these programs, TWR hopes to accomplish our goals for Central Asia, which include:

-Helping the people to realize that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who gave His life for our salvation.
-Helping local Christians to grow in their spiritual walk and establish their own cell churches.
-Reaching out to those struggling with relationships and giving biblical principles for family life.
-Leading each listener to Jesus Christ and helping them deal with the challenges of daily life.
-Capturing the attention of the children and youth through quality program content.

Only with your help can TWR continue to broadcast these vital programs to the Central Asian people. Please prayerfully consider how God could use you and your resources in His Kingdom today. A gift of $50 or more would make a lasting difference in the lives of the people in Central Asia.
