It was where I belonged

"I was a strong believer in my country’s predominant religion. Years later, however, I started questioning my beliefs. I didn't know what was happening to me. During this time, I visited some evangelical churches and was impressed by the statues of Jesus Christ. I thought often about his pain and what he had gone through. The questions that I had for my own religion became bigger, and I went to a teacher for help. After talking to the teacher, I decided to leave my beliefs as they were.

Since I thought that it was my destiny to be a member of this religion, I determined to follow it wholeheartedly. But one day as I was searching for a new radio channel, I heard a beautiful woman’s voice talking with Christians about their testimonies. I was amazed. The next day, I automatically tuned to that station, and heard another program that talked about the life of Jesus. Then I listened to another woman who told stories about forgiveness, love, and friendship. I called a Christian friend of mine and asked if I could go to church with her. She took me to church and gave me a Bible. After listening to the station for two more years, I met the woman who produced the testimony program. She took me to church with her, and suddenly I knew that it was the place where I belonged. I decided to live my life for Jesus from that point on. I know that I don't have to be afraid of anything because He is my Savior, my Father, my God and my Lord."
