FAQ

Can I listen to TWR in the United States?

Most certainly! But you may need some real patience, special equipment, or even a few language skills to do it.

In the eastern U.S., TWR’s shortwave broadcasts from Europe can often be heard in the very early hours of the morning. Check out the latest frequencies and times here. Don’t forget to calculate the correct time in the U.S., as the schedule is listed in Coordinated Universal Time. On occasion, we also receive reports that our shortwave English broadcasts from Guam can be heard. Click here to view the schedule.

You might not realize it, but TWR has an active part in supplying programming to many Spanish stations in North America. TWR distributes A Traves de la Biblia (the Spanish version of Thru the Bible) and its own Spanish program for women, Mujeres de Esperanza (Women of Hope), to Spanish stations across the U.S.

Many of the languages that Thru the Bible (TTB) is produced in are handled by TWR and its partners. Surf to ttb.org/foreign.htm to hear the programs in Hebrew, Greek, Turkish, Vietnamese and others produced by TWR and other broadcasters.

If a local station near you might be interested in carrying one of the above mentioned programs, have them contact us, and we’ll gladly send them a sample. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.
